Found a video on the web? Play it on TV!

You’re browsing the web when suddenly you run into the most amazing video ever created. It’s a three-legged dog playing the piano with a fedora and you can’t wait to share it with the world. But you soon realize there’s no way to get this video on the TV – total bummer. We’ve changed all that. Now there’s a way to play all the online videos you love instantly on the big screen TV.

We’re excited to announce third party video support. With Flipps you can now watch embedded Vimeo and YouTube and your favorite websites on TV. Here’s how:

1) Copy the URL of the article where the embedded video is located.
2) Go to any channel in Flipps and select the search bar, What do you want to watch?
3) Paste your URL.

Third party video walkthrough
Bam! The video from the browser page will appear in the Flipps feed. Stream it on the big screen TV and share the puppy goodness with friends and family.

A Tribute to Discomfort: Cory Richards (Vimeo)

*Geeky bonus. Flipps will also play any MP4 video from the web or from your personal Dropbox folder. Just paste the web or Dropbox link to the video in the powerful search bar and watch the magic happen.

Hi Yasser – Unfortunately the video player in that URL is Flash, not YouTube. Flipps does not support Flash Player at this time.
